The portfolio of hotels managed by Pacrim Hospitality Services Inc. increased to 32 properties and 3700 hotel rooms throughout Canada and the United States on January 31, 2007 with the purchase by Holloway Lodging Real Estate Investment Trust (REIT) of the full-service Radisson Hotel and Suites in Fort McMurray, Alberta. Pacrim Hospitality is the exclusive management company for all hotels owned by Holloway Lodging.
This property brings to 11 the total number of hotels managed by Pacrim Hospitality in western Canada and “is a continuation of our strategy to increase our presence across the country in growth areas,” said Pacrim’s President and CEO, Glenn Squires. “Pacrim Hospitality is proud to support Holloway Lodging in its efforts to become one of Canada’s leading lodging REITs.”
Located at 435 Gregoire Drive, the Radisson Hotel & Suites Fort McMurray is the premiere hotel in Fort McMurray. It has 134 rooms including wheelchair accessible units, suites, and deluxe suites with a fireplace and/or private whirlpool. Additional hotel amenities include indoor pool with spiral waterslide and hot tub; fitness centre, seven meeting rooms and an on-site restaurant, PS Bistro’s.
