This week marks the official openings of two Super 8 branded hotel properties in Nova Scotia. The hill top Super 8 Motel Windsor cuts its ribbon on Wednesday afternoon, September 19, closely followed by a celebration to officially launch Super 8 Hotel Dartmouth on Thursday, September 20.
Located at 63 Cole Drive and clearly visible from highway 101, Super 8 Windsor is fast becoming an enthusiastic participant in the business and tourism life of the area. General Manager Alan Lawley and his staff have been fine-tuning the property’s operation since it opened its doors in June. Super 8 Windsor offers guests 66 well-appointed rooms and 2,700 square feet of new meeting space, free high speed internet, complimentary SuperStart Breakfast, an indoor pool with 8-foot waterslide and fitness centre.
On Thursday afternoon, the newly renovated Super 8 Hotel Dartmouth at 65 King Street will celebrate its opening and showcase the new property for the community. Each of the hotels 84 rooms, many with harbour views, has been extensively renovated. It offers free high speed internet and a complimentary Super Start Breakfast. General Manager Arne Buchanan says that the transformation of this property will delight all guests. Both Super 8’s will open as 100 percent smoke-free operations.
