Over $10,000 Donated to Canadian Cancer Society

Halifax – For the first six months of its 2011 “Fight Cancer” campaign, Pacrim Hospitality Services Inc. (PHSI) is very proud to announce it will be donating $10,600 to the Canadian Cancer Society. This donation is on behalf of all participating hotels and the guests that choose to stay at these hotels under this campaign. As part of the “Fight Cancer” campaign, all participating properties managed by Pacrim contributes $10 to the Society for every night booked with a specially-designed coupon between January 31 and December 31, 2011.

“The Canadian Cancer Society counts on our partners like Pacrim Hospitality Services to fund life-saving research and provide support services for cancer patients and their families. Funds raised through this campaign will be put to work immediately to fight cancer on all fronts. The Canadian Cancer Society contributes more than half of all funds invested by the voluntary sector to cancer research in this country. Its combined investment in research is saving lives – today, 62 percent of people diagnosed with cancer will survive.
