The Radisson Suite Hotel Halifax, located in the city’s downtown core, has earned two international awards for guest service excellence from Radisson Hotels and Resorts, The Americas. The property, owned by Holloway Lodging Real Estate Investment Trust (REIT) and managed by Pacrim Hospitality Services Inc was named as a Gold Level, President’s Award winner and as the recipient of a “Yes I Can” Award from the brand for 2008.
A perennial leader within the family of international Radisson hotels, Radisson Suite Hotel Halifax achieved the most senior level of President’s Award by maintaining exemplary guest service rankings within the brand system. Only two Radisson hotels in Canada, of the 21 overall award recipients in North and South America, were recognized.
The “Yes I Can” Award is earned by hotels that prove to be proactive in identifying and resolving guest problems. Of the 18 “Yes I can” Awards earned, the Radisson Suite Hotel Halifax is the only Canadian hotel. The Radisson Suite Hotel Halifax has 104 uniquely designed suites each with a separate living room and is located at 1649 Hollis Street in Halifax. The awards will be received by the hotel in June 2009.
